How often have you frowned with irritation everytime there's a power cut?
From providing you with coolers for hot summer days to heaters for cold winter nights engineers have done everything possible to make you feel comfortable.
Engineers have given a new meaning to life.
"scientists help discover what already exists but engineers help create a world that never was!" is a famous saying.
From complicated stuff at the global level to simple daily chores everything is being done with machines that run on electricity.
A question, "can you imagine a world without engineers?"would sound extremely wierd.
It is a fact that such a world can never exist and simply cannot be imagined.
If there is one person who could play the role of brahma,vishnu and shiva combined
.i.e; creating ,protecting and destroying the world,
it is undoubtedly an 'ENGINEER'!!!
As a tribute to all those engineers in the world and as a mark
of respect to the legendary engineer Sir M. Visvesvaraya (1861-1962)
we celebrate today as 'world engineer's day'.
if there's one thing we would request the people in the world to do ,it is to switch off your aplliances when not in use.
